A thought?
Hey. This came to me while I was brushing my teeth under the hot shower, I know it's weird but I suppose sometimes enlightenment comes to people at weird times... I suppose there's not much of a huge fat ass line between right or wrong, it works like a code of morals... And we all have morals of our own, like it or not, we somehow start to set up that morals from the day we were born, what behavior we accept and what we do not accept. And when we go out into society we subconsciously enforce these morals, like create a little bubble and only allowing people who understands or relate to your morals in. And I suppose that's how the laws works, we follow the majority who finds what behavior are so called "good" and what are "bad". But let's not go into extremes like murder or stealing, etc. Our society somehow draw a fine line to what types of people we accept and what we cannot accept, as an individual we ourselves draw that fine line as well, and this fine line differs from people to people, cliques to cliques, society to society. For example, most people are unable to accept Gays or Homosexuality but some do not mind or some society are unable to accept girls wearing low cut tops and tight mini skirts stating that it's too explicit while others do not mind. We have our own set of morals, our own set of ideas and different thoughts on different situation, this is what sets us apart this is what makes us as different individuals we define our own society, we set our own rules, our own habits and our own likes and dislikes. What we can and cannot accept as a person or an individual is subconsciously defined by ourselves and sometimes our peers and society, what drives us to make certain decision and certain things are purely based on what we feel is right, we cannot accept when people criticize what we do which we feel is right, but if you look at it from a different perspective, where we all have what we like and dislike, what we can accept and cannot, we start to understand that we can't please everyone, we can't be perfect, we can't always do what people want us to. Sometimes we lose ourselves, our morals and sometimes even our concision, either because we we want the fame, the power, the glory or the fortune that comes with certain things we do, we lose ourselves to such temptations, we lose our defining self to these things, we do not see that as important anymore because we are such materialistic people, we want what we want and we go all out to do it, even if it meant hurting the people around us. We start to paint more masks to wear, we start to conceal our true nature, we start to forget that people have feelings and we start to forget what our ultimate goal is, be it pleasing God, be becoming a doctor, a lawyer, a whatever, we forget because again we are such materialistic creatures, we want the fame, the fortune, the power, but we forget that we have to be ethical, we have to have a sense of feeling, understanding. We offend but if we do not take the effort to clear out that misunderstanding or take the effort to apologize we tend to create enemies, the people we hate, the people we dislike. I suppose to conclude, we should take time and effort to understand or be more sensitive to the people we interact with, if we offend someone take the effort to apologize and try not to do that particular action around that person. As I've mentioned we all have a different sense of right and wrong, what's acceptable and what's not, we just have to be more sensitive. (: Was that 4000 words? ... only 626? WHATTTT. ): Oh well...
